It would appear that in the last 7 days, my clock has gained 500 seconds.
I don't run ntp, and the machine was basically idle for much of this time.
I didn't suspend/resume it.  I ran ntpdate when I booted it and had to run it
again just now before a make build due to NFS issues...

Is it normal for these devices to lose/gain that much time?  That's an
error of 0.00826, or 8260 PPM.  Even bad PC hardware is down in the 50-100
range, iirc.

It isn't a huge deal to me, since I run ntpdate before I do important things
that depend on dates being sane.  However, I thought I'd mention it here
because it does seem strange.
