I've been told that the IBM z50 has APM hardware.  Any prospects for a
window into battery status?  I'd like to know how long the device will
stay up with my IBM Microdrive.

P.S.  A word of advice for people thinking of purchasing Microdrives:
They are very cute, very expensive, and very, very easy to lose.
Small does have its disadvantages.  :(
