My boss has a Dell notebook with has one of these touchpads for a mouse
replacement, and with tapping on it you can simulate a klick etc., all
this is provided to the machine like a PS/2 mouse. Any chance the
on-screen touch panel can do like a PS/2 keyboard or so, with doing
character recognition automatically, and just providing the "keys" that
have been typed (drawn...).
