I've no idea about the diskspace but I guess it won't differ much.

If you want to build a smaller release, the MK* options (see mk.conf(5))
are very useful (I've set various options to "no" the build a release for
my jornada, e.g. UUCP, YP, sendmail, IP Filter, etc..)
