True, but ISTR the only real difference is the memory controller.
sa1100 uses EDO, the sa1110 SDRAM.

The companion chips (sa1101 and sa1111) are entirely different though.

We had a sa1100 embedded board, and were considering an sa1101 version,
and I was considering booting a common OS image...
