Don't you suppose booting the OS would be first priority before the screen?
NetBSD doesn't boot on the iPAQ, due to the fact that the PCMCIA driver hasn't been fully implemented.
Please check out the port before you judge my computer skills, I bet you haven't even tried the iPAQ port.
Anyway, just wanted to say that NetBSD's port to the iPAQ for the purpose of being a brick is GREAT, I've always wanted a brick based on NetBSD!
