Just an FYI.
The jornada 720 under linux runs the iPAQ's x-windows program (Xipaq).
This was developed by Jim Gettys and is now a part of the mainstream XFree86
sourcecode.

The Compaq Research Labs (CRL) bootloader will soon be able to boot kernels
off a compact flash.
This is geared to linux but someone could possibly modify it for bsd
headers...?

The cvs snapshot already does this (I have been told).
