I'm sorry if this offends anyone...

I'm getting ready to sell my Jornada 720. It's in perfect condition and
includes a Socket brand low power Ethernet card, and all of the original
manuals and packing.

If you are interested, please email me off the list.

Thank you,

--Chris

|
| hi!
|
| i came close to getting the kernel to boot but no go :(
|
| i got the kernel from the howto page and hpcboot from
| netbsd-current/sys/arch/hpc/stand/binary/ARM/ and got
| everything ready.
|
| in the first stage everything looks ok
|
| open file "\Storage Card\netbsd"(2277559 byte).
| Loader: ELF
| file size: +0x1b5b84+0x48a20+[(symbol block: header 472

|
| but then nothing more happens after that :( i've seen other
| posts with similar things but i don't really see what the solution is.
|
| the kernel and hpcboot are on a CF card, which just has the
| one (windoze?) filesystem on it, but i understand this is ok?
| i don't have any fs yet, i just wanted to see the kernel boot first.
|
| i've also tried setting hpcboot to use "jornada 720
| (japanese)" as i saw in another post but still get the same results.
|
| also could anyone suggest any docs or info about setting up a
| root fs, and how to format my CF to provide it? i saw the
| link to a dd image but i don't know how to put this on or how
| the 32mb image would affect my 128mb card.
|
| thanks!
|
| tom.
