Hello,

just downloaded the kernel NetBSD-GENERIC.gz from

ftp.de.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily/HEAD/200601180000Z/hp700/binary/kernel/

and installed as /netbsd on a 3.99.8 installation and rebooted

Result:

sd0: LIF directory I/O error

any idea? do I need a complete reinstallation?

On a sidenote, with that kernel the keyboard works occasionally. I.E. it
sometimes picks up a keystroke, but nothing reliably.
I guess 712/60 is just at the edge with some timing there. On a 3.99.8
it gets no keystroke at all.
