You don't need to be sorry. At the moment you have only two chances to
get this machines to do somthing usefull: HP-UX and Linux. If in doupt I
would choose Linux to. Linux is not my favorite Unix, but HP-UX is so,
so, ewwww... ;-)=20

Similar for me. Toolchain hacking is beyond my knowledge and I have no
time and interrest to learn all about GCC / binutils internas. So I am
waiting for someone else to fix this. Once this is done I will try to
port some currently unsupported machines / busses. (B132L with PCI e.g.)
