the 712 is supposed to support all svga monitors, but yet it flakes out
on my 17". I do have it running on an old 14" at 1024x768 fine, i suggest
you get it booted up press esc, and then type
monitor 1
reboot
and then go on monitor 2 and so on, until you find something that
syncs(mine syncs at monitor 6) THere is an easier way to change video
modes, something about tab, but i never quite got that to work.
