Is anybody running -current on a 425e?

I got my first hp300 machine (a 425e) yesterday and I want to run -current
on it. 1.5 seems to run. At least it get's to the point trying
to execute init--I just downloaded the diskless kernel and bootloader from the
1.5.3RC1 snapshot to check what 1.5 does with this machine. Oh, and I don't
have problems with the serial console (with the exception of the bootrom,
prom, rom monitor or whatever its name is on hp series 400 machines, of
course).

But I want -current, so I crosscompiled hp300 on my i386 (the new toolchain
rocks!) but the 425e silently dies after loading the kernel from network. So
does the kernel/bootloader from the last -current snapshot (20020415) and
the kernel/bootloader in
ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/gmcgarry/hp300/cnattach/ (from Dec 1
2001).

Here's the output from the -current snapshot:

>> NetBSD/hp300 Primary Boot, Revision 1.13
>> (gregm@mcgarry, Mon Apr 15 08:46:32 NZST 2002)
>> HP 9000/425e SPU
>> Enter "reset" to reset system.

After that no further signs of live (no blinkin lights, no network
activity) - i.e. it's not just that the kernel doesn't find the (serial)
console and keeps working silently.

My /highly speculative guesstimation/ is that with the new console attachement
code (checked into -current around Dec 14 I think) something broke support
for the somewhat special 425e and now the kernel panics/hangs somewhere in
the dark, but I'm not sure what's really going on here.

Sadly the 2001-11-16 snapshot mentioned in the news section on the hp300
homepage is not available anymore, it would be interesting to see if this
works or not..
