Hi hp300 and sun3 people,


I have found here a room with a lot of computer (hp300/sun3) junk that I
do not need. I'll throw it away unless somebody wants to pick it up in
Santa Clara, CA (Silicon Valley).

sometimes I even don't know what's inside a box, I just write down the
model numbers:

HP
- 3 times a HP 7945  (harddrives ?)
- HP 7963B (harddrives ?) (I cannot read my notes anymore, maybe the
last character is not a B but a 5 or a 3 ???)
- a couple of HPIB (external) cables
- HP 98752A          (~21'' monitor)
- keyboard + mouse

these two monitors used to be attached to two sun 3s:
- SUN monitor, Model M (that's all what the stickers say ???)
- Hitachi Monitor MH-4119-S-AA-0 (that's all what the stickers say ???)

+ very likely we don't need a PC keyboard anymore.
+ a tiny (~12'') monochome monitor for macintoshs: MO 400

oh and there are also 3 very very very loud and old SCSI drives with a
capacity of around 20MB. Don't pick them up. They will drive you crazy!


furthermore there is a HP300 computer. I don't know the model because
the front cover is missing. booting says that's a 68030 with (as far as
I remember) 16MB. this machine has on top of the cover also an
interface, maybe this helps to identify it (I have never seen this
before). There is some version of HPUX installed but I don't know the
root password - a perfect occasion to install netbsd!


I tried out most of the hardware a few months ago and it made noise and
worked at that time. I have forgotten the quality of the sun monitors;
they do work at least.

next week I'll throw it away unless there is interest ...

the stuff is of course for free.

P.S. does somebody has by any chance a macintosh keyboard which s/he
wants to donate me?
