I have two questions about hp300. I was wondering if it would be
possible to move gzip from /usr/bin to somewhere else /bin, /sbin or
something not on /usr. The reason being is that in the last 6 months or
so, I have had /usr get corrupt three times. The first time, I
re-installed the machine -- but the 2-3 time, I reloaded /usr. With /usr
corrupt, the machine would work partially, but since the install sets are
gziped, I had to mount gzip via NFS and copy it over. Since gzip is part
of the base tar ball, and /usr is supposed to be a separate partiion, it
would seem to make sense to have gzip be available if /usr bites it. Just
a thought.

Also, can the netbsd mailing lists be setup to not allow non-list users to
send mail to the list?
