:)BTW; how hard would it be to write support for the fb of the 425e?
Well, the first step would be to find out how the bootrom calls the
framebuffer. On the 425e, the framebuffer is on the SGC bus (on all other
hp300/400 machines it's on the DIO-I or DIO-II bus).
Gavan has said he'd be willing to disassemble the bootrom to figure this
out if someone could provide him with an image of the bootrom from a 425e.
Next one would need to add SGC support to NetBSD/hp300. This shouldn't be
incredibly difficult since OpenBSD/hppa supports SGC framebuffers
(NetBSD/hp700 hasn't progressed far enough yet, last I heard).
Good luck,
