Hi,

me and my office mate just inherited a couple of hp400 systems
(one 433s, one a 433t, I think). Both of them were equipped with
graphics cards I've never seen before, and I've also not seen
them mentioned on the hp300 port pages either. The cards
apparently are of a model with the nickname "Katmandu", and the
two white stickers on the cards say A-3011-56 and 56-3044
respectively.

Does anyone know anything about these cards -- what resolution
and refresh rate are they capable of, general performance
compared to the other graphics cards on the hp300 series, and
lastly (but perhaps most importantly for us ;-), whether it would
be possible to run an X11 server with these cards.

We've so far not tried to boot these systems with NetBSD; I guess
we'll want to open up the cases and remove the dust collected
over the years (of which there has been quite a few judging from
what we've seen so far...).

Regards,
