Has something happened to make the bootstrap to 1.4_ALPHA from the
last hp300 snapshot non-obvious?

Aside from a minor -Wall failure in grf.c, the kernel compiles
fine. Booting with this kernel generates illegal instructions for
most of userland; makes compiling the rest of the world a little
difficult when booting single user doesn't work.

So is something just screwed, or am I missing something that I was
supposed to have read?
