I am having trouble figuring out the correct sectors/track,
tracks/cylinder and so on for a C2233-disk. Can anyone help?

The kernel says 1574 cylinders, 5 heads, 458340 sectors totally. What HP
says is on http://www.hp.com/isgsupport/disk/ata/c223xa/c223xatec.html

The page says the C2233 is an ATA-drive, on my system it is connected to a
SCSI-controller. Has HP in other words connected an IDE-drive to SCSI? 
(The only people sick enough to do this I've seen earlier are Commodore
and GVP.) 

Hope someone can help me out here.
