Greetings !
I have a hp360 with a 98265 SCSI interface sitting on the 98562 system
interface. I attached a Fujitsu M1606SAU SCSI-II disk.
The bootrom and netbsd GENERIC kernel don't see this disk, UNLESS
I first boot hp-ux (old 7.5, from a hpib disk), which detects the disk.
After that, the bootrom and netbsd can use the disk, until i shut down =
the
system power. What is this? Can it be helped (i don't want to keep that =
7959
around)? Should I try to do that timeout-patch, and then netboot the =
360?

I have (had) the same Problem with an IBM DCAS 2GB. I boot a patched =
kernel ( the timeout-patch you probably meant ) from a ZIP drive, the =
kernel then finds the disk and the rest of the system comes up from it =
:-)
bye
Michael
