Hi!

While trying desperately to boot my HP433t with a Domain keyboard,
I've been pulling my hair when trying to use a serial console. It
works just fine in the bootstrap program, and I am able to both label
the disk and copy the miniroot there. However, when booting, the whole
thing hangs after the 'Parity Detection enabled' message.

I can only assume that my VT100 terminal is somehow set up
incorrectly, but I have tried every single setting I can concieve and
get exactly the same result all the time. Works like a charm, until
booting when everything locks.

Can anyone see any immediate error I am making here? What kind of
communication is supposed to work, and are there any magic procedures
to make this work?

Any help greatly appreciated,

  /Orjan
