Subject: disklabel problems with SCSI disk.

I recently obtained a Seagate ST15230WC. Although this drive has an
80 pin connector, I have a converter that allows me to plug in the 50 pin
ribbon cable in my HP 400.

When I attempt to write or read (with the -r option) a disklabel, I get an
IO error after a long wait.

Although the disklabel utility can't seem to get any data from the drive,
the kernel correctly displays the drive info in the startup messages.

Is it possible to get this drive working or am I out of luck?

Thanks,

Mike
