While trying to install NetBSD 1.3 on a hp 400, I have run into an error that
I don't know how to fix.

According to the SYS_INST program I have successfully installed the 1.3
miniroot on my swap partition. However when I attempt to boot, the miniroot
kernel informs me:

...
interrupt levels: bio = 4, net = 5, tty = 5
boot device: sd0
root on sd0b dumps on sd0b
no file system for sd0 (dev 0x401)
cannot mount root, error = 79
root device (default sd0b): <return>
dump device (default sd0b): <return>
file system (default generic): <return>
cannot mount root, error = 79
root device (default sd0b): <return>
dump device (default sd0b): <return>
file system (default generic): <return>
cannot mount root, error = 79

(<return> is where I press the return key)

If I am to believe the miniroot kernel, the miniroot installation was not
quite as successful as SYS_INST thought.

Have I mad a mistake in the install?
Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it?

TIA

Mike
