Hello,

I have a hp345 machine that freezes (nothing special on the console) from
time to time (from several times in an hour to once a fortnight, but
usually twice a week). It is running NetBSD 1.2 (actually 1.2 with 1.2.1
kernel) and it had had such problems for all versions since 1.0 (1.0, 1.1,
1.2).
There were a few cases in which the kernel ended with adress error trap
(but did not written oout any registers), and sometime ended in half of
a word ('trap type 1, cod').

The machine has a 1GB Fujitsu SCSI disk, catseye display, and only 8 MB
RAM, the rest is standard for that model (I suppose). I did not notice
any connection between the crash and any other activity (connecting it to
UPS did not helped either).

I think there is some hardware problem. Does anyone have such experience ?
(Or better: does anyone have a solution ?)

David
