I've traced my problem with the Quantum disk to a glitch in the HP SCSI
driver.  A PR is forthcoming.

(There's no such thing as a simple upgrade.  I never thought that moving
a disk from an Amiga to an HP would involve kernel hacking. :-)

BTW, why doesn't the hp300 port use the standard SCSI code?
