i managed to run sys_inst on a zip drive disk and then was able to
install the os onto it. this was the only way i was able to put a
disklabel onto it. once the os is running, it protects the disk label
somehow, and i have been unable to undo this, while running netbsd.
once you have a good label on the disk, everything works great from my
experience.
