...hmm.  Well, I'm very glad it worked for you.  However, I'm a little
concerned that this is necessary.  The hp300 standalone le driver seems
to suffer from performance problems .. the standalone le driver in the
mvme68k boot program is much faster...

I'll have to take a look at this again sometime.
