...well, actually, write an "if_hpib.c" ... you should be able to do
protocols other than IP, too :-)

I'm not familiar with the HP-UX version.  Can you post a description of
it?

Regarding "kernel hackers guide" ... we're slowly making progress at
a "seciton 9" in the manual that document various kernel functions.
If you have specific questions, feel free to ask them here, and I
and others will do our best to answer them for you :-)
