1.0 didn't have SYS_INST, but 1.1 did... Check:

	ftp://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-1.1/

(hp300 is assumed; you posted to port-hp300@netbsd.org :-)

BTW, I think I've managed to scrounge up a spare SCSI disk.  I will
try _very hard_ to fix the SYS_INST bug this weekend.
