If what you say means the same things as `the mount point to be exported
must be a filesystem root to use the -alldirs option,' then yes, you are
correct.

You will be able to mount root if you export that directory, but I don't
think you will be able to mount swap in that case.

In any event, if you read the exports(5) man page, the restrictions on
-alldirs are clearly stated.  This man page is listed in the "SEE ALSO"
section of diskless(8).
