I get *exactly* the same thing; my system has a SCSI disk, and I thought
that was the problem... guess not.

It seems there is a generic problem with SYS_INST.  Unfortunately, I
can't try to hack it until I can install.  8-(.


The "workaround" people have been recommending is install the old
version of NetBSD from HP/UX, and then upgrade.  This isn't a very
good workaround.  8-(.
