The CPU is upgradable to a 68040 ... you'll need a 68040, a new crystal, 
and a new boot rom.  Herb/Dave?  Wanna post this again?  I promise this 
time that I'll add it to the WWW pages :-)

I'm pretty sure a 68060 would be Hard to get working in a 300 ... not 
just from a software perspective...
