No, the hp7xx series of machines is based on the HP PA-RISC processor
and not the Moto 68k. The two lines of machines share a few devices in
common, but are completely different otherwise.
There is a Mach (u-kernel) and Lites (4.4bsd OS server) available from
us that would serve as a strong starting position for a NetBSD port.
Or you could just run Mach/Lites (there is a basic self-hosting environment).
However, it is not very robust and only lightly tested on a 712/80.
