You're sure it's a 500? That's ... a pretty old machine. Hopefully, you
meant 300 or 400.
Check the NetBSD/hp300 1.1 INSTALL notes. They're on ftp.netbsd.org in
/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-1.1-ALPHA/hp300. That file describes all supported
hardware.
