the installation docs are incomplette.

I couldn't found any doc's how to do the 'Netboot SYS_INST' but found
one chapter in the 'comp.sys.hp.hpux FAQ' about 'boot into single user mode'.
This is the modified part for the 'Netboot SYS_INST'

This is an example of the boot devices:

  1Z SYS_INST

Where 1Z is the boot device for the NetBSD installtion, so you type:

1Z

and then press the RETURN key.

And please make an small notice that the copy of the miniroot takes several
minutes due to the nfs block-size of 104 bytes.
