I suppose that statement is somewhat misleading. I'll correct it.

If someone can figure out where the UART (prolly an scn2681) on that
keyboard controller lives, I'm certainly willing to make the necessary
changes to the console driver to support that keyboard. Herb is the
Apollo export :-), so he'll have to tell me how to detect if a keyboard
is actually there, etc. (Reset, I'd assume, maybe some sort of
cookie..) It's be nice not to have to add an option.
I'm wanting to make the console driver more flexible, anyhow, to support
the sgc framebuffers and the Domain keyboards. I've started that a
little. The bootblocks for 1.1 will pass the select code of the console
device to the kernel, thereby eliminating the need to know about all
devices to find the console. This is a step in the right direction, anyhow.
