The 345, like the 375 and 380, uses the "configuration EEPROM".  Power on 
the system, hit the space bar a few times, and wait for the "selecting 
system" message.  When you get that, enter "C <enter>" ... you'll get a 
menu ... wade though it to the serial port config, and set the remote 
flag.  Sorry, I don't have my manual handy...

Of course, this presumes that you have a HIL/grf console handy .. if you 
don't, I'm not sure how to get the serial console set.
