Hi, just got onto the mailing list, so pardon me if this has been
asked before. I've installed NetBSD-1.0 on an HP9000/350 and it's
working fine. X is also working fine. I'm a little tired of vi
though, so I grabbed the emacs source off prep.ai.mit.edu and I
am trying to compile it (18.59.1).
Basically I got it compiled with some small additions to the
s-386bsd.h and m-hp9000s300.h files and a small change to process.c.
Anyway, it compiled and installed fine with a few warnings. But when
I run it I get an IOT Trap.
So, I know someone else out there must have compiled it. Has somebody
put together a binary distribution of things like emacs and tcsh (I've
had problems compiling tcsh-6.05 as well)?
I'd appreciate any tips on compiling or information about ftp sites.
Thanks.
Jesse
