Something else to consider:  you need rev B or greater boot ROMs if you are
going to boot from a SCSI drive.  This would only be a problem if you have
a really old 300 (320 or 350).  New boot ROMs cost about $200 last we checked.

Of course, you could always boot from an HP-IB disk/tape and still run off
of the SCSI disk.
