longjmp() is giving me fits, and since i've heard nothing about from the i386
crowd, i'm assuming it's hp300 or m68k specific.

longjmp() is insisting upon returning the value of '67641732', rather than
what was set via setjmp(). this causes such well known applications as
'bash' and 'perl' to die.

any ideas?

i will investigate it further and do the send-pr thing if needed, but i
felt posting here first would possibly save me some time if someone else has
any ideas...
