Wow!! The st SCSI tape driver works. (4 June sources) This is excellent.
Thank you somebody!!

But no thanks without minor criticism. ;-)

When I do a "mt rew" it works, but it locks the SCSI bus. Or at least I
think it is locking the SCSI bus. I'm not sure how to tell for sure. All
my other processes keep running but as soon as they try to access the disk,
they lock up. As soon as the tape finishes rewinding, they continue.
Also, while this is happening, I get the following messages to the console
	Jun 9 19:20:52 haydon /netbsd: dma1: timeout #1
	Jun 9 19:30:49 haydon /netbsd: dma1: timeout #2
	Jun 9 19:30:49 haydon /netbsd: dma1: timeout #3
	Jun 9 19:30:49 haydon /netbsd: dma1: timeout #4
	Jun 9 19:30:49 haydon /netbsd: dma1: timeout #5
	Jun 9 19:30:49 haydon /netbsd: dma1: timeout #6
	Jun 9 19:30:49 haydon /netbsd: dma1: timeout #7

The messages continue as long as the tape rewinds.

When I do a dump(1), I have no problems.

FYI: The machine is an HP 375 with an Archive Viper 150 1/4" Tape drive.

Dave
