But I suggest you try the new binary snapshot I've put on lamp once you
get your kernel built.

I had hoped that sometime today I would get around to putting 4 
kernels up in there as well to make peoples upgrade go smoother.

Someday; I'm going to make a decent install method so new installs
are easy too but.....

too much to do; too little time.
