Subject: NetBSD-current/dreamcast broken?

Hi,

I just attempted to update my NetBSD/dreamcast installation to a
current from friday. However the new kernel (I tried both my own
kernel and GENERIC) appears to hang somewhere before the
initialization of the NIC (a LAN adapter), which I guess I can
tell since I get ping replies from dc-load running before I send
the kernel to the Dreamcast, but I don't get any replies after
dc-load starts loading the new kernel. My old kernel still
works, however I've already installed the new userland (duh!), so
that's not of much use right now (I get a sh.core in the
root-directory of my NFS-exported Dreamcast filesystem, so I
don't think there's any chance I'll be able to go multiuser with
that kernel/userland combination). I'll try to hook up the
Dreamcast to my TV set tomorrow, perhaps then I'll be able to
provide some error/panic message.

Is there any other information I can provide so far that might be
helpful to somebody?

Has anybody else seen NetBSD/dreamcast not working lately? Or,
can anybody tell me of a fairly recent current that actually
works (say something from the last 4 weeks or so)?

bye,
  Harold
