I don't know if it's possible, I don't know yet how to establish a SLIP connection. So, if there's some method like broadcasting packets over SLIP it may be possible. Anyway, I could create a normal kernel and boot over a 'in cdrom' filesystem that has some init scripts to establish a SLIP connection and after that mount a root filesystem over NFS. It's not a beautiful way for a system to work, but i guess it's the cheapest one because Broadband adapters are rare and expensive.
