Hello all. I'm sure there are places I can go to get
this answered, but a half hour of searching didn't
answer it.

Has anyone bought the Lik-Sang kit to fix the
dreamcast's gdrom yet? And if so, did it boot CD-R's? 

Since these things are going for $29 at Game Spot now,
I'll probably get a new (used) one. BUT, it would be
cool to turn this broke one into a project and try to
hook up a bitmaster hard drive or something. And at
that time I could try to fix the gdrom.
