I was reading the Hitachi SuperH programming manual andnoticed it explicitly 
said the processor supports PCMCIA, this in theory would be the easiest 
method of connecting a hard drive, there wouldn't be as much hardware 
interfacing.  Although, who knows how you'd connect it...
