Actually, Python 2.2 and 2.1 both blew my system. I can't say that I've 
tried 2.0 or 1.5...but it doesn't bode well that the later versions caused 
hard crashes. 

If you're specifically interested, though, whenever my current build 
finishes I'll give the highest version of Python I haven't tried a shot.
