It just occured to me that I've only been using cdrecord
for burning the audio track. If I remember correctly, I
had problems early on getting it to work for the data
track, so I switched to a free or demo burning application.

It's been a while since I burned a CD, since I normally 
just pipe applications over to the DC by way of the serial
connection or ethernet.  I'll check my notes and get back
to you with more info asap.
