Everything I reverse-engineer ends up in LinuxDC (in one form or another).
I've been reversing Sega/M$ DC software for months now, but it's not a
trivial process and the rewards can only be truly seen when aggregated.

Ever heard of KOS?  It may be that great project if you're looking for an
"operating system" that supports a huge portion of the DC hardware.  I
can't speak for NetBSD, but LinuxDC is steadily gaining more and more
low-level hardware support.  I'd go into specifics, but I don't feel like
