I was reading the specs for the MapleBus protocol on Marcus's website
(http://mc.pp.se/dc/maplebus.html), and it got me thinking. If the MapleBus
operates on such a relativly simple protocol, and can send / recieve data at
2Mbps, would it be a very difficult task to design a MapleBus <--> USB
adaptor? I am sure a driver for NetBSD could be writted for such a device (Or
maybe even a Slave a-la the serial slave), and it would allow much higher
transfer rates then the current coders cable, offering a good alternative to
those who can't get their hands on a BBA.

Any comments?
