AFAICT, it seems rather 50/50 which one works on any particular burner.
I'm not even sure what the difference between the two options is
supposed to be.  The docs say

        -xa1            Subsequent tracks are CD-ROM XA mode 1
        -xa2            Subsequent tracks are CD-ROM XA mode 2

but CD-ROM XA is always mode 2, so I assumed that it actually meant
"form 1" and "form 2", but it's hard to tell since the behaviour seems
to be different on different burners.
